Riga® Lacquer

Grade L-BB / L-BB Birch Plywood
 

Prefinished with a clear LC lacquer on both sides of Grade BB/BB Birch plywood.  It is ideal for furniture and other joinery, as it saves both on time and materials.  It can be CNC machined and does not require lipping or edge banding.  N.B.  Grade BB can contain plugs and patches!

  • Latvian Birch Plywood pre-lacquered on both sides with an LC lacquer

  • An ideal material for CNC work and does not require lipping/edging after machining

  • Available from stock at ATP and James Latham depots

  • Note:  Long grain construction

Thicknesses:

  • 12mm & 18mm from stock

  • Other thicknesses available to order 6.45mm to 24mm - Minimum order 1 pallet

Surfaces:

  • Clear lacquered surface - Sheen level 23 - 27% at 60º

  • NOTE:  Grade BB faces - There can be plugs and patches visible beneath the lacquer

Weight:

  • 720kgs/m3

  • 18mm 1220 x 2440 weighs 38kgs per sheet

Properties:

  • Decorative and ready to use, environmentally friendly and easy to work

Bonding:

  • Bonded to EN314-2 Class 3 (exterior quality glue-line) - But only suitable for interior use

  • Conforms to EN13986 (CE 2+) and EN636-2

  • Suitable for structural use.  Class E1 to EN717:Part 2

  • CARB Phase 2
