The strength and durability of plywood make it the ideal material for interior and exterior building. For more interior-specific building, such as kitchen units or shelving, we recommend selecting Smooth Phenolic Film, for its tough and durable nature. Available to purchase in a range of different sizes and thicknesses, a phenolic resin is pressed on both surfaces of the timber board, under high pressure and temperature, which creates a smooth surface on one side, and a textured pattern pressed onto the other.
All panels are edge-sealed with an acrylic paint to minimise moisture penetration. The film-faced plywood panels have improved resistance to abrasion, moisture penetration, chemicals, insects, and fungi. They have a smooth, hygienic, and easy to clean surface, making them perfect for use within the home.
