More and more staging, grandstand and marquee suppliers are discovering the premium qualities of Advanced Technical Panels’ quality structural birch plywood which has recently been specified for high traffic events in arenas such as Fulham Football Club and Silverstone Race circuit. Customers may have seen inferior quality, non-load bearing boards fail in service, as flooring which is not up to the job can show signs of wear and tear fairly quickly, and can become a serious health and safety issue.
All of ATP’s structural birch plywood has been independently tested and conforms to EN 13986 and either BS 5268 Part 2 or Euro Code 5 so customers and end users can have absolute confidence that the product they are specifying will be up to the job and will not let them down.
ATP’s Buffalo Board, Heksa Plus, Wisa Hexa-Grip and Wisa Wire F Class are all manufactured in Europe from 1.4mm birch veneers and bonded with a tough, thermosetting phenolic resin. This conforms to EN 314-2: Class 3 for bonding (formerly WBP) and also meets EN13986: 2004 CE2+ in respect of load bearing applications. Tabulated data is also available so that engineers can accurately calculate floor-load capability. The birch baseboard is overlaid with a tough phenolic film which has a slip-resistant pattern face and smooth phenolic film reverse. WISA-Wire F also has enhanced fire rated properties - meeting BS 476: Part 7 - Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame.
